The afternoon sun had drifted slowly behind the thick, grey clouds in the Eres-Tiyan sky. The birds had yet to come from their hiding and, despite some normalcy returning to the school, Saeren Academy was still muted and cold. The students slowly came around as the events of the winter festival were slowly forgotten. But there was still a lot on the shoulders of those who remembered. There had been a death at the school. A masquerade ball. Such a simple thing and yet it had been a great morale booster for the school.
